What is Broadband?
In terms of internet access, broadband refers to how you connect to the world wide web. if your connection is always on, and faster than the old "dial up" service that was accessed over telephone lines you have broadband.
Broadband speed is determined by two numbers, the "upload speed" and the "download speed".
What is
"upload speed" and "download speed"?
Up & Down Speeds are measured at Megabits per second (Mbps).
Download Speed refers to how fast you can receive information from the internet.
Upload Speed refers to how fast you can send information to the internet.

Example: A speed test result of "118 Mbps down and 10.4 Mbps up" and determine the quality of connection. At minimum speeds should be 25 / 3 Mbps to Stream HD video. The higher the numbers the better connection.
